Christine was born and raised in New Hampshire. After discovering that the sun does shine between October and April in other parts of the world, she moved out West. Guiding whitewater rafting trips in Grand Canyon gave Christine a spirited introduction to western water issues. After six seasons, she wanted to work for our rivers instead of just floating along on their powerful currents. Christine graduated from Oregon State University in 2011 with a degree in Natural Resources. She and her handsome husband, Preston, relocated to Denver in 2009. Both Hartmans are passionate about western water and are happy to call the Centennial State home.
