Rick Carroll

Prior to retiring in 2006, Rick Carroll spent twenty-four years as a management consultant. For eighteen of those years he was owner and manager of his own consulting business helping some fifty six manufacturing plants successfully move and /or expand their production. Clients were as diverse as an ice cream maker in Vermont to an airbag production plant in Arizona. From 1970 to 1981 he worked for the Johns-Manville Corporation in various management positions: sales training, management training and corporate training and organizational development. Rick had begun his career with JM as the operations manager of the Ken Caryl Ranch which the corporation had purchased to become their world headquarters. He served as associate Dean of Students at SW Minnesota State College and then at Denver University from 1968 to 1970. Rick grew up in the mountain town of Salida Colorado where his love of the outdoors was nurtured. He graduated from Colorado College with a B.S. in political science and from Denver University with an M.A. in administration of higher education.
