Donating Water Rights Donating a water right is not only a gift to the Colorado Water Trust, but a lasting contribution to future generations of Coloradans and to the health and welfare of the wildlife and habitat of this great state. Volunteering The gift of time is essential to the success of our many projects, events, educational outreach, and inventory and restoration projects. Please contact our Executive Director if you’d be interested in volunteering. Currently, our highest priority needs for volunteer time are water engineering, legal research and support, and administrative assistance.
